Let Anderson Humane’s Behavior Team give your cat the perfect pedicure! Our trained team ensures a low-stress, fear-free environment for your cat’s nail trim experience. With our low-contact procedure, you can relax in your car while we handle everything for you!
Location, Hours & Details
Kitty nail trims are available on the 2nd Saturday of each month at our Veterinary Clinic, located at 309 S Randall Road in South Elgin, from 10am-12pm. We trim nails on a first come, first serve basis – not by appointment. Please note we will not trim any nails before 10am. In order to trim your cat’s nails, we require a proof of sign up and rabies vaccination records. You will also sign a treatment consent form the day of your nail trim.

Can I bring my cat if they're sick?
If your cat exhibits signs of illness, disease, or behavioral change, please do not bring them to Kitty Nail Trims.
Can I bring multiple cats?
Absolutely! Kitty Nail Trim fees apply to one cat. Please register for how many cats you would like to bring. Additionally, having a separate carrier for each cat will be ideal for promoting a low-stress environment.
What if my cat isn't from Anderson Humane?
You can still participate in Kitty Nail Trims!
What if my cat isn't up to date on their shots?
Cats must be up to date on their Rabies vaccinations. You will need to show proof of Rabies at the time of sign-up. Need to get your cat up to date on shots? Check out our low-cost services!
Can you come to my house and trim my cat's nails?
If a cat is too fractious during the event, and the client lives within 20 minutes of the shelter, we can offer a home visit for nail trims at a $30 cost.
Can you take walk-ups?
We’ll take walk-ups if time allows!
What if I need to cancel?
There are no refunds for nail trim cancellations. If you are unable to make it, call us and we can transfer your registration to a later date with advanced notice. Your $15.00 payment will be applied as a donation to Anderson Humane if unable to reschedule.
