If you’ve explored the resources above and still need to surrender your animal, you can submit a request for our team to review.

Important intake information

Anderson Humane is a limited-admission shelter in South Elgin, Illinois. Intake is by appointment only and depends on available space. We are currently receiving a high volume of surrender inquiries and have extremely limited capacity for dogs.

After submitting the appropriate form, you should receive an email from Shelterluv within 72 hours. Please check your spam folder if you do not see it. Submission does not guarantee immediate intake.
