Military Veterans Program (MVP)

Anderson Humane recognizes the sacrifice made by those in the military. That is why we created our Military Veterans Program (MVP) to support the mutually beneficial relationship and positive benefits of a connection between animals and veterans. The MVP allows veterans to connect with animals in unique ways, including constant companions support, pet food and supplies help (when available), and reduced adoption fees.

Active Duty Foster Program (MVP)

Military life can be a challenge for pet owners. When activated, some military members have nowhere for their beloved pets to go during their deployment. Through the Active Duty Foster Program, Anderson Humane fosters provide care for the pets of active-duty military for the term of their deployment. Pets enrolled in this program receive free veterinary care through Anderson Humanes veterinary clinic, free food and supplies, as well as behavioral advice and support – at no cost to the MVP participant.

NOTE: Placement availability is dependent on securing an approved foster. While deployments may last up to one year, participation in the program is contingent upon foster availability.
