Anderson Humane is looking for an organized, detail-driven professional who understands that strong donor relationships are the foundation of meaningful nonprofit work. The Major Donor Development Coordinator plays an essential role in cultivation efforts and engaging donors in our mission by managing communication, coordinating meetings, and ensuring every supporter feels valued and informed.

What You’ll Do
- Coordinate donor communications on behalf of the CEO.
- Build and maintain detailed donor profiles; identify opportunities to strengthen cultivation and major gift engagement.
- Assist the development team with tailoring acknowledgment language for special campaigns, events, or major gifts.
- Generate personalized thank-you letters for all gifts and ensure timely, consistent donor stewardship.
- Support the development team with tasks such as meeting preparation and event logistics.
- Help maintain and improve donor management systems and procedures.

What We’re Looking For

- Experience with donor databases or CRM systems (Raiser’s Edge, Salesforce, DonorPerfect, or similar).
- Professional communication skills with a warm, donor-focused approach.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced nonprofit environment.
