Why Adopt From Anderson Humane?

Anderson Humane has dozens of adorable adoptables and provides the information you need to find the best animal for you and your family. We also support you post-adoption with training, low-cost veterinary care, and other resources to help you establish a positive relationship with your new animal companion.

Adoption hours are Monday-Friday noon to 7:00 p.m., Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. You can check out our adoptable animals during these hours.

Our Adoption Process Is As Easy As 1,2,3!

1. Visit Our Adoptables Page

Peruse our adoptables page. Note the ID number and location of the companion you are interested in adopting.

2. Visit The Location of Your New Companion

No need for appointments, or scheduling a visit. We want you and your new friend to visit each other as soon as possible, so simply note the location and address of your interest and stop by any time during adoption hours located to the left.

3. Take Home Your New Companion 

We will provide as much information as possible about your new companion. Our sources include previous households, fosters, and our partner shelters. Behavior varies from environment to environment, and we cannot guarantee that behavior will be the same in your home.
