What you’ll be doing
- Ensuring animal spaces are clean and that they’re thriving both mentally and physically.
- Be the friendly face that greets visitors, assisting them in finding their new family member.
- Using a variety of computer programs to gather the info you need to provide superior service and process animal adoptions.
- Stay informed about and spread the word about our incredible programs and events.
- Maintaining a welcoming environment for both animals and visitors.
What to expect
- A lively environment with animals of all sizes and characters!
- The need for safety awareness due to animal exposure.
- A mix of indoor and outdoor activities, including playing with the animals (we call this “enrichment”).
- Staying active: walking, standing, and occasional lifting (up to 40 pounds with help).
- Making memories with happy families and witnessing countless joyous moments!
Do you have what it takes?
- At least a year in customer service.
- Strong communication skills that showcase warmth and inclusivity.
- Are highly comfortable learning new software programs.
- Professionalism even in high-emotion situations.
- A natural ability to juggle tasks and prioritize.
