Anderson facilitates visits for program graduates to senior centers\, schools\, hospitals\, and other places where people need the healing presence of animals. A minimum commitment of 2 hours per month is required. \nTo schedule an evaluation\, please click here. For more information\, please contact Kelly Rakunas at 847.697.2880 x29 or krakunas@ahconnects.org. \nEach evaluation will be 20 minutes long and must be scheduled prior to attending. There is a $40 fee for evaluation.

What better way to bring an animal into your life than adopting a pet in need of a home? We will have dogs and puppies at this adoption event. We are excited to help you find your new furry companion and look forward to seeing you! \n\nAnderson Humane places 4\,000 homeless pets into loving homes and rehabilitates 3\,000 injured or orphaned wild animals every year. Through the support of our community\, we have found forever homes for more than 80\,000 pets since our founding more than 50 years ago. \nWe are passionate about caring for animals and about creating meaningful human-animal connections. We know that animals make us better people\, and we want as many people in our community as possible to experience that truth firsthand.
