SUMMARY:The Road Home Mega Adoption Event
DESCRIPTION:The Road Home Mega Adoption Event. Help Us Get To 1\,000 Adoptions!\nSaturday\, October 4th | 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. | Brilliance Subaru Elgin | 1500 N. Randall Road \nAnderson Humane is once again partnering with Brilliance Subaru Elgin to find loving families for homeless cats and dogs. Come see lots of animals available for adoption and eagerly awaiting their loving homes! Could it be yours? \nLike all animals available for adoption from Anderson Humane\, these cats and dogs are spayed/neutered\, microchipped\, and vaccinated. We also support you post-adoption with training\, low-cost veterinary care\, and other resources to help you establish a positive relationship with your new animal companion. \nThis event is part of the Subaru Loves Pets national initiative\, which is dedicated to improving the safety and well-being of animals by getting them out of shelters and into loving homes – a goal we champion every day at Anderson Humane. \nThere are no appointments at this adoption event. All animals are available to the first person who comes to take them home. All the adoptables featured in the link below are intended to be available for adoption at our event\, but their availability is not guaranteed! Adoptions are first come\, first serve. \nFAQ\nWhat do I need to bring to adopt? \nYou’ll need to bring a valid ID and form of payment\, we accept card and cash. \nHow do I know who will be available for adoption at this event? \nOnce we know which adoptables will be attending this event\, they’ll be posted on our Facebook page! Keep a look out a day or two before the event. \nCan I put a hold on a dog or cat? \nWe do not place holds on adoptables\, we want to be fair to all folks that are interested. \nWill there be adult dogs too\, or only puppies? \nWe typically bring lots of puppies; they’re usually very resilient and eager to make new friends! Adoption events can be stressful for adult dogs\, so we only bring adult dogs we know would be well-suited for a crowded event. \nWhat time should I get there? \nHistorically\, there has typically been a line to get into this adoption event. You’re more than welcome to arrive when you’d like\, but if there’s an adoptable you have an eye on\, we suggest getting there early.\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Check out who is available for adoption at The Road Home Event at Brilliance Subaru!
