Georgie the Curious King
“Linus is now Georgie — and he’s definitely a Georgie! He’s so sweet and curious. One of his favorite things is to steal hair ties and hide them around the house for us to find. He also loves to sit on the computer chair and be pushed around like a king. Georgie is endlessly curious about the world, and we absolutely adore him.”
A Shy Kitty’s Transformation
She has really warmed up and now loves to snuggle for afternoon naps, a perfect end to her playful adventures. Her favorite toys are anything with a bell, and she’s always the first to bat them around with enthusiasm. While she still enjoys a quiet moment to herself, often running and hiding when startled, she’s made every extra room in her home her own. She has her favorite resting spots, with one in particular under the bed where she feels the safest.
Her adopter has worked hard to create a space where she can feel comfortable, and their bond has grown stronger every day. This cat’s journey reminds us that with a little patience, a lot of love, and a safe space, every pet can find their place in the world.
Dakota’s Journey Through Training
You may remember Danica from her time at the shelter. Now known as Dakota, she’s come such a long way thanks to the patience and dedication of her adopter — and Anderson Humane’s training program.
“Dakota had high fear-anxiety-stress levels and was reactive on leash when I first fostered her. After adopting her, we started attending group training classes to help her build confidence and learn to be around other dogs.”
